Repeat Readings: Model and Practice
In this short video segment, the reading instructor will
model fluent reading of the selected passage as the student listens and follows along. Following the reading specialist, the student will read the identical passage.
This is the Model Reading component of the Reading Fluency Intervention Strategy "Repeated Readings". During the student's independent reading, the reading instructor will offer verbal cues to assist the student with decoding and word recognition.
